DUSHANBE, March 4, 2010, Asia-Plus  — Tajik cellular operator, MLT (Mobile Lines of Tajikistan), has launched an action dedicated to the Tajik Press Day, entitled “Supporting Media in Tajikistan,” today, according to MLT press service.

The Tajik Press day is marked on March 11 and within the framework of this action, reporters for leading Tajik media will be provided with MLT-branded solar cell phones (solar-powered cell phones).

Due to active and positive role of local media, a powerful and competitive digital information space has been created in the republic and the domestic media market activity has been brought to a qualitatively new level, the MLT press service stressed

We hope that the MLT-branded solar cell phones will be useful means of communications, giving good opportunities for exchange of information, the MLT press service said.
