The Tajikistan Chess Championship for men and women was held in Dushanbe, with 72 participants from all over the country, 23 of whom were women, according to the Chess Federation of the Republic of Tajikistan (CFRT).
At the end of the national championship, Amin Qobilov took 1st place, scoring 6.5 points out of a possible 8. Alisher Karimov took second place, trailing by 0.5 points, and third place went to Orash Shonazarov (6 points).
According to additional criteria, the current champion of Dushanbe, Qubod Maqsoudshoyev, took 4th place, and Payrav Qodiri took 5th place, both also having 6 points.

Among women, Marvori Nasriddinzoda and Dilola Tolibova scored the same number of points, but according to additional criteria, the gold was won by Marvori Nasriddinzoda, silver went to Dilola Tolibova, and Shohsanam Jumayeva took the bronze.
