In Tajikistan, as a result of traffic accidents on May 27, the day of the Eid al-Adha holiday, 7 people died. Another 6 people were injured and hospitalized.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, at noon on May 27, as a result of one of the accidents, the driver and two passengers died. The driver, Farrukh Almatov, lost control on the Dangara – Bokhtar road and crashed into a concrete barrier on the side of the road. The Ministry of Internal Affairs named the deceased:
– Farrukh Almatov, 35 years old, resident of the city of Bokhtar;
– Saiakhtam Odinazoda, 59 years old, resident of the city of Bokhtar;
– Kamoliddin Odinaev, 53 years old, resident of the city of Bokhtar.
In another incident, 18-year-old Jumabeg Umedov, driving a motorcycle while intoxicated, hit 6-year-old Mayram Khalifazoda on the Dushanbe – Nizhniy Pyandzh highway, resulting in the girl’s death in the hospital.
In two other accidents, two people died, and one more was injured. Among the deceased are Hikmatullo Gafurov and Mirzokhon Jumayev.
Also, on the evening of May 27, Muso Neymatov, a 34-year-old driver of an Opel Astra, collided with a bulldozer vehicle, resulting in the death of the Opel driver and injuries to 5 passengers.
Additionally, as a result of traffic accidents on May 25 and 26, two people died. Among the deceased are 27-year-old Nuriddin Mirzoev and 24-year-old Manizha Inoyatova.
