DUSHANBE, September 30, Asia-Plus — Establishment and expansion of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Tehran Chamber of Commerce and Industries and Mines (TCCIM) were discussed here yesterday at a meeting of the CCI head Sharif Said with visiting TCCIM deputy chairman Ali Khorram, according to the CCI press service.
In the course of the talks, Mr. Khorram briefed Mr. Said on activities of TCCM, noting that it was Iran’s largest chamber having more than 40,000 members.
For his part, Said noted that CCI had close cooperation with chambers of commerce of a number of Iranian provinces, including Khorasan, Mazandaran and Golistan, concluding cooperation agreement with them.
The sides also considered the issue of signing of a cooperation agreement between CCI and TCCIM. Tajik CCI head is scheduled to pay a working visit to Iran this year and the sides will continue discussions on this issue.
Sharif Said offered Ali Khorram hold a Tehran industrial exhibition and business forum with participation of Tehran business community in Dushanbe in 2010 in order that Tehran investors would be able to know more about Tajikistan. .
