DUSHANBE, September 12, 2009, Asia-Plus — Tajik farmers are making preparations for a winter crop sowing campaign.
Minister of Agriculture Qosim Qosimov has issued an order to provide a sustainable basis and adequate agro-technical conditions to ensure proper winter crop sowing campaign.
A special commission, led by Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Shukrullo Rahinazarov, has been set up to organize the winter crop sowing campaign. The agriculture departments in the provinces and districts are to carry out consultative and organizing work among relative enterprises and farming units to ensure adequate organization of the winter crop sowing campaign.
