DUSHANBE, August 17, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Tajik law enforcement authorities have seized 3,151 kilograms of narcotics in the first seven months of this year, according to press service of the Drug Control Agency (DCA).

A totaled included 718.315 kilograms of heroin, 544.299 kilograms of raw opium and 1,888.57 kilograms of cannabis.

In the same period of last year, 4,098.966  kilograms of narcotics were seized in Tajikistan, the press service said.
