DUSHANBE, May 11, 2011, Asia-Plus –The board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament discussed a draft state finance law at a May 11 meeting, presided over by the Majlisi Namoyandagon speaker Shukurjon Zuhurov.

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said the board also considered a bill on the procedure for holding a suspect or a defendant in custody as well as bills requiring amendments to the laws on prosecutor’s office, constitutional court, public service, militsia (police), and meetings and demonstrations.

These issues will be considered at the next sitting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the fourth convocation, Sultonov said.
