DUSHANBE, September 7, 2011, Asia-Plus — Free show programs are being held in a new amusement park in Dushanbe on September 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor’s office said.

According to him, visitors will pay only for using park amusements; tariffs are set by appropriate governmental bodies. 

We will recall that President Emomali Rahmon and Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev inaugurated the new amusement park located on 15 hectares in the Buni Hisorak area on September 6.

Some 80 million somoni have been allocated from the Dushanbe city budget for creation of the park that has a 1,080-seat amphitheater, sports and entertainment infrastructure, cafés, teahouse, skateboard place, water park, landscape lake with musical fountain, etc.

According to the Dushanbe mayor’s office, many park amusements purchased in China and European countries will be installed in the park until the end of this year.
