Top Tajik drug-control official meets with Pakistani ambassador

Director of the Tajik Drug Control Agency Lieutenant General Rustam Nazarov met today with Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Tajikistan Amjad Hussain Sial.

The sides have discussed opportunities for organization of joint counter drug trafficking efforts from Afghanistan, DCA told AP.

“Pakistani Ambassador offered to conduct a meeting with representatives of countries which border Afghanistan in Pakistan in the second half this year to elaborate joint drug-control efforts,” the source reported.
