Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon held a regular government session.
As reported by the President’s press service, Tajik Minister of Labor and Social Protection Mahmadamin Mahmadaminov presented his report on implementation of governmental programs for 2010-2011 and current measures the ministry undertakes for implementation of similar programs in 2012-2013.
According to the report, more than 44.000 citizens of the republic passed professional training courses and obtained new professional skills in 2011. Head of Shurobod region reported on the process of implementation of the law on local government authorities.
The Government has approved the law on education and the law on anti-corruption expertise of draft laws of Tajikistan and submitted the two documents to the lower chamber of the country’s parliament for consideration.
According to the source, at the end of the session Tajik President outlined such issues as provision of markets with foodstuffs, vegetable and fruit harvesting, crop harvesting, construction of bridges, roads and the end of academic year.
