five-day international exhibition “2006 Food Expo” that is opening in Moscow today.  

Representative from the “Development of Trade in Central Asia” program implemented by the International Trade Center told Asia-Plus this today morning.  According to her, with aid of the International Trade Center and under financial support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Tajik enterprises together with their colleagues from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan will represent the Central Asian region in the Moscow exhibition.

According to her, the permanent participants of the Moscow food exhibition include representatives from Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, the United States, France and many other countries.   

In 2005, more than 2,200 representatives from 60 countries of the world put on display their achievements in food and other relevant industries in the 12

th

international food exhibition, the Asia-Plus interlocutor concluded.
