DUSHANBE, February 13, Asia-Plus  — Iranian Ambassador to Tajikistan Nasser Sarmad-Parsa telling a news conference in Dushanbe hosted on occasion of the 27

th

anniversary of the Islamic revolution in Iran stated, “We have always come out against military actions because Iran’s people has note forgot the Islamic Revolution, during which 25,000 people died.”

On Iran’s nuclear program, Sarmad-Parsa noted that although Iran’s dossier had been reported to the United Nations Security Council, “it does not mean that we do not have the way out of the situation because there is the possibility of negotiations.”

“What Iranian people has achieved is its own moves, and this problem we will also resolve by ourselves,” stressed Iranian diplomat, “Up until now, Iran”s policy has been to make use of nuclear peaceful technology.  Iran needs nuclear energy only for peaceful purposes.  For example, due to nuclear technology France meets 75 percent of its energy requirements.”

Iranian diplomat noted that leaders of some powers have announced that the Iranian nation does not have the right to conduct research on nuclear energy and their excuse for such a move was said to be the possible deviation of Iran towards nuclear weapons.  “Before the revolution, the United States had controlled Iran and tried to create nuclear technology in our country that had already been proved.  But today, when independent Iran is doing this it has become prohibited,” Sarmad-Parsa said.

“Today some forces try to oppose Iran to the international community, but we are not going to be outside it,” Iranian ambassador stressed.
