DUSAHNBE, March 6, Asia-Plus – On occasion of International Women’s Day, which is marked on March 8, Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has passed a resolution on providing extraordinary grants to women veteran and women actively participating in political, scientific-cultural and socioeconomic life of the capital city.  

Under the resolution the grants would be provided to 3,648 women.  For example, women veterans of war and labor will receive 160 Somonis each.  

Women that had previously been members of the government, parliament, as well as women scientists and best female students, as well as women actively working with educational, cultural and medical facilities will receive 120 Somonis in grant each.  

Women working with road-exploiting administration will receive 140 Somonis each.
