, April 27, Asia-Plus – President Emomali Rahmonov today had telephone conversations with Amirsho Miraliyev, chairman of the Khatlon province, and Qosim Qosimov, chairman of the Sughd province, to discuss a progress of sowing campaign.  

According to presidential press service, Khatlon and Sughd governors briefed the president on the results of work carried out so far and financial support provided to farmers.  Head of state demanded during the conversations that the sowing campaign should be speed up.   

In the course of the telephone conversations the issues related to implementation of president’s decrees on the establishment of new two higher educational institutions – Energy Institute in Qurghon Teppa and Mining-Metallurgy Institute the northern city of


Chkalovsk


– were discussed as well.
