DUSHANBE, May 29, Asia-Plus — A group of senior representatives from People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan (PDPT) led by the party first deputy chairman Davlatali Davlatov on Friday [May 26] visited a women’s prison in the city of Norak to hand over aid to inmates of this jail.  

According to information from the PDPT headquarters in Dushanbe, the assistance included medicines, blankets, detergents, hygiene items for inmates as well as 1,500 books for the prison’s library.  Besides, presents were handed over to little children of inmates.

The source says members of the party’s primary organizations have collected personal donations to provide this assistance.
