DUSHANBE, May 29, Asia-Plus — On Monday May 29, a Tajik parliamentary delegation led by Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev, Chairman of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) left for Moscow to attend the first meeting of heads of parliament fro countries making up the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), which will be held in Moscow from May 29 to June 4.  

Shavkat Saidov, Aide to the Majlisi Milli Speaker for Relations with Media and NGOs, says that on the sidelines of the meeting Ubaidulloyev will old meetings with his Russian and Chinese counterparts. 

Besides, by invitation of Mr. Paavo Lipponen, Speaker of Finnish Parliament Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev will visit Finland as head of a delegation of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly to attend celebrations to mark the 100

th

anniversary of the establishment of Finnish parliament.  The celebrations to mark the Finnish parliament jubilee will be held in Helsinki from June 1-2.
