DUSHANBE, July 6, Asia-Plus — Tajikistan’s Law “On Symbols of the President of Tajikistan” has been submitted for consideration to the sixth session of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) of the third convocation, which will be held in Dushanbe on July 20.

’s lower chamber of parliament) unanimously endorsed a bill on symbols of the president of


Tajikistan


on June 30.  The symbols include president’s standard and insignia.  The president’s standard is a tricolor flag 1m x 2m (colors of Tajikistan’s national flag) featuring the image of lion with seven star around it, and the president’s insignia looks like the 1-Grade “Star of the President” Order.
