is currently making arrangements for re-registration of its members.  The re-registration process will start beginning on July 24.

According to information the union’s board, the main objective of the re-registration of the

’s members is in defining an exact number of members of the

Union

as well as a number of its primary organizations.

Zafar Saidov, the head of the “Khovar” national news agency also member of the board of the Tajik Journalists’ Union, has told Asia-Plus that lately, the organization of the Union’s activity had been very poor and therefore “it is very difficult now to define the exact number of the Union’s members.”  “In my opinion, it is absolutely right that the new head of the

.”

The re-registration process is supposed to last till November 25, according to Zafar Saidov.  He also noted that the Tajik Journalists’

Union
