mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev presided over an enlarged meeting of the mayor’s office on August 7.  The meeting considered issues related to adequate preparations for the winter, a progress of the implementation of the water supply project and collection of funds for public utilities.

mayor, has told Asia-Plus that the meeting heard reports of deputy mayors and top managers of the city’s municipal waterworks (Dushanbe Vodokanal or DVK) and the unit for implementation for water supply project.

The mayor criticized municipal services for failing to carry out a proper work in this direction, according to the Asia-Plus interlocutor.  He found their activities insufficient.  Ubaidulloyev also sharply criticized some officials with the mayor’s office and heads of consumer services structures.
