DUSHANBE, October 9, Asia-Plus – Members of the board (Shuro) of Tajikistan’s lower chamber (Majlisi Namoyandagon) of parliament have considered a bill on swearing oath of loyalty to the president.  

A meeting of the Shuro of the Majlisi Namoyandagon presided over by its speaker Saydullo Khairulloyev was held on October 9.  

Muhammadato Sultonov, a spokesman for the Majlisi Namoyandagon, said that the board meeting had also considered amendments to the RT Laws “On the Military Service”, “On the Diplomatic Service”, “On the Accounting” as well as the country’s Administrative Code.  

Members of the Majlisi Namoyandagon board also discussed draft resolutions of the lower house on ratification of a concept of cooperation between the CIS states in fighting terrorism and other manifestations of extremism and joint use of facilities of military infrastructure of member nations of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), a loan agreement between the Tajik Finance Ministry and China’s Eximp (Export/Import) Bank, and a loan agreement on the establishment of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.   . 

Some of these issues will be send for consideration to the next sitting of the third session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon that will be held on October 11, Sultonov said.
