DUSHANBE, January 4, Asia-Plus — By government’s resolutions deputy ministers for transport and communications have been appointed.  

According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC), Jumakhon Zuhurov has been appointed the first deputy minister for transport and communications.  Jumakhon Zuhurov had previously been the first deputy transport minister.  

Khudoyor Khudoyorov, formerly deputy transport minister, has retained his position.  He has been appointed the deputy minister for transport.   

The former deputy communications minister Beg Zuhurov has been appointed the deputy minister for communications.  

We will recall that President Rahmonov November 30 signed a decree wiping out a number of ministries.  They included the ministries of transport, communications, security, economy and trade, agriculture, emergencies and energy.  The duties of the ministries of transport and communications were transferred to the established ministry of transport and communications.
