DUSHANBE, February 5, Asia-Plus — Dushanbe mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev presided over a meeting of the city’s administration on February 5.  The meeting was held to discuss issues related to collection of taxes and execution of the city’s budget.

Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that Ubaidulloyev demanded at the meeting that receipts to the city’s Dushanbe from taxes should exceed the target determined at 198.1 million somonis by more than 50 percent.

On improvement of the city, the mayor pointed to the necessity of more actively drawing the public into subbotnik (from Russian work
