DUSHANBE, March 19, Asia-Plus — President Emomali Rahmonov will hold a traditional meeting with representatives of the intelligentsia at the Center for Strategic Studies in Dushanbe on March 20.
According to the Ministry of Culture (MoC), the president is expected to deliver a statement on the subject of a role of the intelligentsia in development of society.
During the meeting, Rahmonov usually congratulates representatives the intelligentsia, who come from all regions of the country, on the occasion of Navrouz and urges development, sound society in his traditional address to the intelligentsia.
A spokesman for a MoC said that representatives from the government, researchers, lecturers with high educational institutions and artistes will attend the meeting.
