DUSHANBE, March 30, Asia-Plus – Representatives from the emergency management department of the Red Crescent Society of Tajikistan (RCST) and the Committee for Emergency Situations (CES) under the Government of Tajikistan have agreed to jointly conduct practical disaster preparedness exercises.  

The source at a RCST said that this issue was discussed at a March 28 meeting of representatives from RCST and CES in Dushanbe.  The sides agreed on a joint preparation of materials (booklets and brochures) on this theme.  

According to him, participants at the meeting also exchanged experience in mitigating disaster effects.
