DUSHANBE, April 16, Asia-Plus – An exhibition of catalogues of Czech goods, as well as informational leaflets and other materials about good produced in the Czech Republic is opening at Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) in Dushanbe today afternoon.  

The source at a CCI said that informational materials about Czech enterprises producing electrical engines, medical equipment, equipment for food industry fines, as well as devices for projectors for showing advertising materials will be put on display in the exhibition in Dushanbe.   

Tomorrow, a seminar on prospects of further development o cooperation between Tajikistan with the Czech Republic will be held at the Tajik CCI in parallel with the exhibition, the source said.  According to him, Tajik and Czech entrepreneurs may possibly conclude cooperation contracts during the exhibition.  

The exhibition is organized by Czech’s Ministry of Trade and Industries, State Agency for Supporting Entrepreneurship and Investments (Czech Invest) and the Trade Support Agency (Czech Trade).

In Dushanbe, the exhibition runs through April 18.  “The exhibition will also be organized from April 19 to April 21 in Khujand, from April 22 to April 23 in Qurghon Teppa and on April 24, it will be organized in Kulob, “ the source said.  

At present the Czech Republic is cooperating with Tajikistan on modernization of the Dushanbe cement plant and construction of a new cement plant in the Shahritus district.
