DUSHANBE, May 11, Asia-Plus – A ceremony of handover by the U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe of equipment to Tsentrospas (rescue service of Tajikistan’s Committee for Emergency and Civil Defense) has been held at the rescue service’s office in Dushanbe today.  

According the Committee for Emergency Situations (CES), the donation includes equipment and means for protection of the population against chemical attack and technogenious disasters.  

  

  

The source at a CES said that a totla cost of the equipment is $150,000.

Representatvies from the US Embassy and the CES have attended the equipment-handover ceremony.
