DUSHANBE, May 21, Asia-Plus — A two-day exhibition formally titled “Urals and Siberia in Tajikistan was held at the Kokhi Vahdat State Complex in Dushanbe on May 19-20.  

The exhibition was staged by Russia’s Magnitogorsk and South-Urals Chambers of Commerce and Industries, Expo-Novosibirsk – International Exhibition Projects and Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCI).  

Russian regions of Novosibirsk, Magnitogorsk and Chelyabinsk participated in the exhibition.  

Companies from these regions put on display their achievements in various industries at the fair in Tajikistan. 

In parallel, a roundtable meeting entitled “Investment Climate in Tajikistan: Prospects of Expansion of Cooperation between Russia’s Urals and Siberia Regions and Tajikistan” was held in Dushanbe.  During the meeting, Tajik entrepreneurs and their Russian colleagues considered cooperation issues.
