DUSHANBE, June 12, Asia-Plus – President Emomali rahmon has congratulated his Russian counterpart, President Vladimir Putin, on Russia’s Independence Day, which is marked on June 12.    

According to presidential press service, in his telegram of congratulations, President Rahmon, in particular, noted that Tajikistan highly appraises a level of cooperation with the Russian Federation that has expended over the past several years.  

“Our countries have stable ties of friendship and confidence and mutual striving for further strengthening of strategic partnership,” said Emomali Rahmon, “I am sure that the beginning of implementation of large-scale projects in various branches of Tajikistan’s economy will give a new impulse to further expansion of fruitful cooperation between our nations.”
