DUSHANBE, August 1, Asia-Plus — “Bozgashti Ayom” (Return of the Past) by Abdulhofiz Qodiri has been recognized the best play of the year.   

Tohir Mahmadrasoulov, an official with the Ministry of Culture (MoC), told Asia-Plus that the ministry annually conducts seminars to determine the best play.  

“This year, a five-day seminar has been conducted in the resort area Qaratogh in the Shahrinav district,” said Mahmadrasoulov, “known Tajik playwrights, critics, producers, actors and specialists in drama study have taken part in the seminar.” 

“Ehsososti Hinduyona” (Indian Feelings) by Jouma Qudus was rated second and “Shumqadam” by Zulfiya Sodiqova was rated third in this year’s contest.
