DUSHANBE, December 19, Asia-Plus — Speaking at a meeting of the board (Shuro) of the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) its head Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev has officially thanked a number of Tajik officials for their contributions to preparation and holding of the second Tajik-Russian forum that was held in Russia last October  

Tajik speaker has also mentioned Russian Ambassador to Tajikistan Ramazan Abdulatipov for his contribution to the holding o this event.

The meeting of the Majlisi Milli board, presided over by Ubaidulloyev, was held on December 18.  

The meeting discussed issues tabled to the agenda of the 13th session of the Majlisi Milli.  The board, in particular, considered laws on adoption of the code of economic legal procedure and the civil procedural code, as well as amendments to the laws on natural resources, consumer’s cooperation, and social security of disabled people.  

All these laws have been adopted by the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower chamber of parliament) this year.
