President continues staff changes

DUSHANBE, February 1, Asia-Plus — By president’s decree Farhod Mahkamov was relieved of his post of Tajik Ambassador to Afghanistan, presidential press service said.

Tajik MFA refrained from giving further details of this issue.  

By other president’s decree Fathullo Bouriyev, formerly mayor of the city of Roghun, was appointed the chairman of Dushanbe’s Shohmansour district, replacing Faridoun Muhiddinov, who was dismissed on January 26 for age reasons.    

President Emomali Rahmon also named Ismatullo Zaydov, who had previously been chairman of the Fayzobod district, to replace Bouriyev as mayor of Roghun.

Abdullo Hakimov  was appointed the chairman of the Fayzobod district.  He had previously been the first deputy chairman of the district  

Saidbeg Sharipov, formerly director of the agency for special property of the ministry of economic development and trade, was appointed the chairman of Dushanbe’s Ismoili Somoni district, replacing Akbar Fayozov who was sacked on January 26. 

By government’s resolution Ismoil Shafiyev was appointed to head the agency for special property.
