, March 17, Asia-Plus  — A session of the CIS Tourism Council is opening at the President-Hotel in


Moscow


today.

  







According to the CIS Executive Committee, the tourism council members are aiming to discuss prospects of development of tourism and relevant industries and training of personnel as well as amendment made to the Russian tourism legislation.

  






The session participants include experts from the CIS member state, representatives from the CIS executive committee and the CIS council of permanent and plenipotentiary representatives.

 

The session is held in parallel with the ongoing international exhibition “Intourmarket-

2008”

, which has involved some 1,500 tourism companies from more than 50 countries of the world.

 


 


  







           

One of the main objectives of the exhibition is to promote establishment of business contacts among tourism companies, exchange of experience and determination of a new price policy for the spring-summer period.
