DUSHANBE, April 12, Asia-Plus – On Friday April 11, President Emomali Rahmon had telephone conversations with chairmen of the districts of Danghara (Mahmadullo Saydaliyev) and Shahrinav (Rahmatullo Poulod) as well as the Tursunzoda mayor Barakatullo Atokhoja to discuss their economic results in the first quarter of this year, presidential press service said.  

In the course of the talks, the Danghara head noted that they have planted grains on 35,000-37,000 hectares so far.  Besides, local farmers have laid out new gardens and vineyards on totaling 500 hectares over the report period, Mahmadullo Saydaliyev said.  

For his part, the president noted that Danghara plays an important role in providing domestic market with wheat and flour.    

In the conversations with heads of Shahrinav and Tursunzoda, President Rahmon ordered them to take adequate measures to fill markets in Dushanbe with farm produce, including meat, eggs, vegetables and fruits.   

The heads of the mentioned districts were also charged to take measures to ensure practical realization of president and government’s instructions on providing food security in the country.     

Emomali Rahmon also reminded that one lyceum, four general schools and one multi-storey residential building as well as central stadium should be finished in Tursunzoda by June 27.     

Besides, the head of state charged heads of these three districts to make preparations to ensure regular of work of their economies during winter months.
