In the Farm named after Latif Mirzoyev, the president highly appraised the pace of wheat-sowing campaign.  The farm managers said that local farmers had planted the wheat sort “Lastochka” and hope to have harvests of up to 8 tons/ha.

Local farmers plant the best wheat and barley sorts and hope to have harvests of up to 9 tons/ha, and some sorts provide wheat harvest of even 12 ton/ha, the press service said.

The president charged the district administrators to stock up 8,000 tons of high-quality seed wheat for the state reserve.

Rahmon also visited the dairy at the Farm named after Latif Mirzoyev to get acquainted with conditions of work and preparations for the autumn-winter season.

The farm’s livestock breeders intend to provide 1,014 tons of milk to the Dushanbe dairy factory this year.
