DUSHANBE, May 27, Asia-Plus — The capital mayor has sacked director of the Shohmansour market and head of the municipal outdoor advertising agency for failing to implement mayor’s instructions.

Dushanbe Mayor Mahmadsaid Ubaidulloyev yesterday held a meeting to discuss issues related to Dushanbe’s consumer market saturation, organization of permanent fairs for realization of industrial and agricultural goods, and making food stocks.  

Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Shavkat Saidov, a spokesman for the Dushanbe mayor, said that during the meeting, it had been noted that it is planned to purchase totaling 15,000 tons wheat flour for the city this year. 3,000 tons of wheat flour have been delivered to Dushanbe so far, and they will be distributed to the city’s markets.

By mayor’s resolution Said Rajabov was relieved of the post of director of the Shohmansour market for negligence and failing to implement they mayor’s resolutions.  

The meeting also focused on preparation of the Tajik capital for holding of a summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).  The Tajik capital will host the SCO summit in August this year.  The mayor demanded at the meeting that the work on preparations for the event should be speeded up in accordance with a plan that had been approved before.  

Said Kishvarov was relieved of his post of director of the municipal outdoor advertising agency for failing to fulfill some provisions of the mentioned plan, the spokesman said.
