DUSHANBE/KULOB, May 27, Asia-Plus  — New details emerged on today’s gunfire in Kulob.

 





According to Asia-Plus’ reporter in Kulob, the first victims of today’s gunfire in Kulob have been reported.

 

He reports that two persons – passersby – were injured during the gunfire in Kulob.

 

The source at the hospital said that one of them died on the way to the hospital and the other one is now serious health condition.  


In the emantime, according to the MInistry of Interior, the second wounded had also died.  

  


 




An assault on house of Suhrob Langariyev, which started this night, is under way.

 

The assault involves armored personnel carriers.

 

The operation is carried out by officers from the Ministry of Interior and the State Committee for National Security (GKNB)

 


 


  




In the meantime, according to new information received from the Ministry of Interior (MoI), two brothers of Suhrob Langariyev are with him in the house.

 

The source in a MoI said that they are involved in drug trafficking.

 


 


 




Suhrob Langariyev is the brother of one of former leaders of the pro-government Popular Front Langari Langariyev, who was killed in the early 1990s.



According to the Ministry of Interior (MoI), Suhrob Langariyev is suspected of being involved in drug trafficking and more than


100 kilograms

of heroin are now allegedly kept in the house.
