DUSHANBE, June 9, Asia-Plus  — International Finance Corporation (IFC) Tajikistan provides an opportunity to discuss issues related to tax system in press-club that will be held at Tajik Journalists’ Union in Dushanbe on June 10.

According to the IFC Dushanbe Office, the press-club is part of the project for development of business environment in Tajikistan.

The press-club aims to raise awareness of the population, including business community, of a new super-patent that will be introduced in Tajikistan in early July.  The super-patent includes three types of taxes – income tax, social tax and sales tax.   The main benefit of the super-patent is a fixed payment, the source at the IFC Dushanbe Office said.

The source also noted that 50 proposals on supporting development of the business environment in the country had been prepared and submitted for consideration to the government; to this date, 15 of them have been adopted.
