President Kurmanbek Bakiyev told journalists after the meeting with Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev that all agreements and contracts concluded between the two countries are fulfilling. According to his words, exchange of opinions on bilateral cooperation between the two states is held.

Commodity turnover between the two states reached one billion dollars and increased by 26% compared to the same period of the last year.

“We will support Kyrgyzstan’s request in supply of 40 thousand tons of grain. This request will be satisfied till September 1”, the Kazakh President said.

The sides also stressed the importance of fulfillment of the agreement on visa free entrance of Kyrgyz citizens to the territory of Kazakhstan, concluded in spring of this year. Kyrgyz citizens can stay in Kazakhstan without visa during 90 days.

The Presidents also discussed the situation in South Ossetia.
