Draft Fiscal and Tax Codes of Kazakhstan, forecast of the country’s socio-economic development and budgetary parameters for 2009-2013 as well as draft law “On the Republican Budget for 2009-2011” have been discussed today at a Governmental sitting, reported Kazinform with reference to the PM’s press office.

With consideration of the comments made by President the draft documents have been approved today.

Forwarding the bills, Minister of Economy and Budgetary Planning Bakhyt Sultanov said that the draft Fiscal Code aims at re-orientation of the work of state bodies to getting certain results.

Draft Tax Code foresees realization of the principle of direct action law, lowering tax burden on non-primary sectors of economy and providing conditions for modernization and diversification of economy.

According to Sultanov, while envisaging the socioeconomic development and budgetary parameters the Ministry took into account the results of the country’s development in the first half of 2008 and experts’ price forecast for oil and metal. All these indices underlay the draft Law “On Republican Budget for 2009-2011,” the Minister said.
