DUSHANBE, January 6, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Entry of young promising people with unconventional thinking on management that studied abroad into the government is the call of the time, Tajik expert Firouz Saidov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

Saidov predicts possible introduction of a number of staff changes at the government session that will be held on January 15.  “In my opinion, Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov will be retired for age reasons, while in other respects there will be no any serious staff changes in the government,” Saidov said.

He expects new deputies of ministers of economic development and trade, agriculture and finance to be appointed.

“The ongoing global financial crisis demands that new personnel with new thinking should come into the economic bloc of the government,” the expert stressed.

In his opinion, young person being all clued up about economy, finance and agriculture should fill the post of prime minister.
