A meeting of Kazakh Ambassador to Pakistan with Arthur Bayhan, Chief Executive Officer of Competitiveness Support Fund was organized on Tuesday in Islamabad, report Kazakh Embassy in Pakistan press service.
Great potential of trade cooperation between the Central and South Asia was complimented within the meeting. Kazakh Ambassador noted that the development of such contacts meets the interests of all states of the region. Having expressed support to the development of interregional cooperation, he informed about Kazakhstan”s steady overcome of the world financial crisis.
Bayhan informed about possibility of trade relations increase with the Central Asian countries and Kazakhstan in particular. The Fund supports production of seafood and horticultural products that could be exported to Kazakh market.
Work on creation of two free economic zones is underway in Pakistan now. All necessary infrastructures for the development of new productions, in the establishment of which Kazakh businessmen can participate, will be introduced in the zones. Enterprises of the free economic areas will be granted a remission for taxation for 15 years.
Fund representatives intend to discuss these and other issues in the nearest future in Kazakhstan, the most developed country of Central Asia.
