The US Embassy in Uzbekistan started Program of small grants of Commission on Democracy development. The main aim of this program is giving grants on projects that will support democracy institutions in Uzbekistan.

In Uzbekistan Commission is interested in projects that are focused on development of independent mass media, support of civic rights, implementation of human rights, and others.

The grants can be received by nongovernmental noncommercial organizations or mass media, reported the US Embassy in Uzbekistan.
