DUSHANBE, February 19, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Session of two Tajik-Uzbek intergovernmental commissions that were held in Dushanbe yesterday resulted in signing of two protocols.

The protocol on the results of work of the second session of the Tajik-Uzbek intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation was singed by Tajik Deputy Prime Minster Murodali Alimardon and Uzbek Prime Minister also Finance Minister Rustam Azimov, who co-chaired the session.

Besides, the sides also signed the protocol on the results of work of the session of the Tajik-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on demarcation and delimitation of national border between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

It is to be noted that Alimardon and Azimov refrained from commenting on the results of work of the Tajik-Uzbek economic commission and after signing of the documents the Uzbek delegation left for Tashkent.
