Secretary General of Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolai Bordyuzha arrived with a working visit to Tashkent on May 21.

CSTO Secretary General meetings with authorities of National Security Council apparatus, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Defense of the republic are planned in the course of the visit, as reported by CSTO secretariat press service.

“This is a prearranged trip, held in frames of Organization Summit planned for June 2009 and in order to discuss measures on realization of decisions of CSTO Collective Security Council unscheduled meeting held this February on formation of Collective forces of immediate response,” Bordyuzha stated.

Series of working visits of CSTO Secretary General in frames of preparation to regular Collective Security Council meeting is continued by a trip to Uzbekistan.

Secretary General”s visit to Tashkent will last till May 22 inclusively.
