Days of Culture of Kazakhstan, initiated by the presidents of the two countries – Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Nursultan Nazarbayev were held in Turkmenistan from 6 to 8 June. The forum was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Broadcasting of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It should be recalled that Days of Culture of Turkmenistan were held in Kazakhstan last spring.

A large delegation of popular folk singers, famous musicians, opera singers and soloists of the ballet, cinematographers and journalists arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the cultural event. An extensive program of events, the venue of which was the best concert and theater halls, included concerts, Days of Kazakh cinema, art soirees, master classes for students and pupils of Ashgabat musical schools, as well as a photo exhibition titled “Kazakhstan is the heart of Eurasia”.

The festival finished with a gala concert of Kazakh and Turkmen artists, which was held at the Palace of Music of the National Cultural Center of Turkmenistan on June 8.
