KHUJAND, June 11, 2009, Asia-Plus  — Two new industrial enterprises have been launched in mountain areas of Sughd province.

According to the Sughd energy and industries directorate, limited liability company, Obi Zarafshon, has been opened in the Ayni district and joint-stock company (OJSC), Rakhshona, has been put into operation in the Asht district.

Obi Zarafshon produces soft drinks and an average monthly wage of people working for the enterprise is 660 somoni.

Rakhshona produces building materials and an average monthly wage of its employees is 106 somoni, the source at the Sughd energy and industries directorate said.
