DUSHANBE, July 20, 2009, Asia-Plus  — During his stay in Moscow, President Emomali Rahmon on July 18 held a meeting with senior representatives from offices of Tajik ministries and organizations in Russia and other Tajikistan’s official bodies in Russia, according to presidential press service.

The results of President Rahmon’s meeting with heads and senior representatives of Tajik Diasporas in Russia that was held in Yekaterinburg last month as well as issues related to protection of national interests of Tajikistan in Russia were the focus of the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the president noted that the representative offices should be well aware of all events and situations related to Tajik nationals living and working in Russia and take opportune measures to protect their rights and interests, the press service said.
