Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held a meeting with Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Canada to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan Margaret Skok today in Ukimet Yui (the House of Government).

In the course of the meeting the sides discussed the issues of bilateral cooperation in particular the implementation of potential in recourse development as well as cooperation in the field of investments; the press-service of the Government said.

K. Massimov and M. Skok changed views on global economic situation and possibilities of interaction against challenges of the global financial crisis.

At the end of the meeting the parties expressed mutual confidence in further strengthening of fruitful cooperation between Kazakhstan and Canada.
