DUSHANBE, September 30, 2009, Asia-Plus — A republican scientific-practical conference formally titled “The State Language – the Most Important Aspect of National Self-consciousness” has opened at Tajik State Medical university today morning.
Organized by the Ministry of Health (MoH), the conference has brought together senior representatives from the ministry, health directorates, heads of medical facilities and researchers to discuss issues related to use of the Tajik language in medical paperwork, medical terminology in Tajik, etc.
Deputy Prime Minister, Ms. Ruqiya Qurbonova, Minister of Health Nusratullo Salimov and deputy head of the Executive Committee of Payvand (the Association of the Tajiks and Persian-speaking Peoples of the World), Isomiddin Salohiddinov, are also attending the conference.
