DUSHANBE, October 15, 2009, Asia-Plus — Limited liability company, Taj-Turk Insaat, has won a tender for construction of the business center, Dushanbe-Plaza, in the Tajik capital, according to press service of the Dushanbe mayor’s office.
Speaking in an interview with Asia-Plus, Saidali Tabarov, the deputy engineer-in-chief with the Dushanbe capital construction department, said that the Taj-Turk Insaat is a Tajik-Turkish joint company and it acts as a contractor. “A total cost of the project is 99 million somoni and funds for construction of a twenty-story Dushanbe-Plaza Center will allocated from the Dushanbe budget,” Tabarov said.
According to him, Taj-Turk Insaat has already built a shopping center on the Tursunzoda Street and a nine-story apartment building in Dushanbe’s neighborhood 82.
The Dushanbe-Plaza Center will be built at the intersection of the Bukhoro, Roudaki and Bokhtar streets in the center of the city. The center is expected to be finished by the 20th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence, which will be marked on September 9, 2011.
